IT Advisor

Ser Cheng Seng

Mr. Ser Cheng Seng appointed as Nexomgreen’s IT Advisor since 2017. Mr. Ser is acting and responsible for the overall system development of System eAlam that meets the integration needs of IoT equipments and DOE’s policy for Project SPBT.

He has 28 years of business and IT experience, of which 21 years is working as Application Delivery Leader and Program Manager in Leading Consulting Firms (PwC and IBM). He has over 21 years of ERP-SAP & S4/HANA implementations in Consumer Products, Oil & gas, Banking, Plantations, Waste Management, Retail, High Tech, Automotive, Timber and Aerospace industries. He specialize in Program/Project Management, Cloud Solutions (SuccessFactors), Integration Business Planning (IBP), BW, Supply Chain Management, Advance Planning & Scheduling (APS), Production Execution, Product Costing, MM, QM, Sales & Distribution with Variant Configuration, HR and EHS.

He has both the experience in serving enterprises in designing business solution to align with their company’s IT Transformation priorities and large-scale global design and rollout IT implementation such as BABA, Vinfast, Interflour, Cenviro, Agrifert, Aeon Asean, Maybank, Sime Darby Group, Nestle Asean SAP GLOBE Programme, Unilever Asia APO Project and Shell Lubricant.

Hardware & IoT Technology Advisor

Ramani Nair

Ramani Nair, Nexomgreen’s hardware and IoT advisor, responsible in the R&D of IoT equipments of Project SPBT.

He has more than 16 years of experience in various industries and different fields including manufacturing industry from conceptual design and implementation of various IoT and Industry 4.0 Technology and is also a committee member for Sirim Eco Label 047 certification.

With the advent of human roles in Industry 4.0 as ever increasing, as evidenced by active work in developing methods, exploring influencing factors, and proving the effectiveness of design oriented to humans. Mr. Ramani Nair has successfully completed more than 10 projects using IoT and Industry 4.0 technology garnering impetus into technology investment. He is now expanding his expertise and championing IoT projects in machine conversion, making them IoT ready.

Policy Advisor

Kamaruddin Harun

Hj. Kamaruddin Harun who owns EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) consultancy firm who joins Nexomgreen as the company’s Policy Advisor.

He had over 20 years of experience in the field of preparation of technical reports EIA, EMP and EMR to meet the requirements by the Department of Environment (DOE). In the earlier stage of his career, he had served the Department of Environment of Malaysia assistant engineer for 13 years. With his expertise and understanding of DOE’s rules, regulations and processes, his firm provides professional consultancy services in environmental study and control for companies that intends to establish any facilities, factories, branches or agencies in Malaysia in accordance to the environmental control standards of DOE. Besides, his firm had conducted workshops, seminars and conferences relating to the information, methods and technologies on environmental management and protection techniques.

Tan Hock Guan

Tan Hock Guan, the founder of Nexomgreen Sdn. Bhd. and the person that germinates the idea for Project Sistem Pengurusan Buangan Terjadual (SPBT).

Mr. Tan had an accumulative 10 years of experience and involvement in the waste recovery industry. After a few years of analysis of technology and study of waste oil recovery, he had officially founded Sodor Greentech (M) Sdn. Bhd. in year 2014.

Sodor Greentech (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a licensed company by Department of Environment of Malaysia to collect and treat waste oil from workshops and factories under schedule waste code of SW305 and SW312. Main production line of Sodor Greentech involve re-refining waste oil produced by machines and vehicles into base oil which is the main raw material in producing various lubricating oils for machines.

In the midst of his serving period as managing director of Sodor Greentech, he had realize the major issue present in the current waste oil market in Malaysia which originated from the improper and immoral illegal practice of various acting party that has posted a huge impact to the environment. Through continuous market analysis and reviewing strategies implemented in other developed nations, Tan recognize the need of a new solution to fill the void exist in the current market practice. In 2017, Nexomgreen Sdn Bhd is formed and a whole new team had been employed dedicated to further develop and solidify the idea of Project SPBT. As Malaysia is progressively moving towards a develop nation, Tan has a great vision where Project SPBT will serve as a revolutionary platform to improve the overall schedule waste management industrial landscape align with guidelines and policies of Department of Environment of Malaysia to ensure a sustainable development of the entire nation.

Tengku Ahmad Tengku Kasim

A member of the Royal Kedah family of the current Sultanate and a cousin to the Kedah Sultan, Tuanku Sultan Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, Kedah State Ruler.

He joined and appointed as Nexomgreen’s chairman and have had vast management experiences and in depth understanding of environmental issues in the recycling industry.

After his graduating with a Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Management and a Bachelors in Law (LLB) Degree, Tengku Ahmad have had years of experience in the areas of management, administration and human resources. He had gain valuable experience and exposure in various local and MNC such as Toyochem, Pernas Otis and UCM Industrial Corporation. He was also the Managing Director of UCM Automotive Systems, subsidiary of UCM Industrial Corporation Bhd. During his serving period, he had gain valuable exposure in liaising with various organisatons including MITI, MIDA, Ministry of Finance, Customs Departments, bankers and national trade unions. Currently, he still holds the Directorship in UCM industrial Corp Bhd.

He has the opportunity to join MBSA as Councilor for 8 years. During his tenure, he has held various position and given responsibilities including appointed as Head of Councilors, Chairman of Audit Committee as well as becoming committee members in several portfolios.

Upon leaving MBSA in 2018, he has been appointed as the Director for Sodor Greeentech (M) Sdn Bhd, a company that deals with environmental care and recycling of waste product.

With his accumulated experiences during his service in MBSA and Sodor Greentech, he had been able to highlight critical issues existing in the current practice of the recycling industry and has been a significant and pivotal figure in the entire concept of Project SPBT in Nexomgreen.
